Fun dares shirt!

Well, the school year’s well underway and I’m just as busy as I thought I would be! I have a lot more kids in one of my classes than I expected to. They just turned in their first written assignment and I’m really not looking forward to reading through all of those right now. I thought I’d make this post to hold it off for just a little longer.

I saw another cute shirt the other day. I was out to dinner with my hubby and there was a bachelorette party at the restaurant too. The bride-to-be was wearing this fun little shirt with a list of dares on it. I think what you do is you try to get guys to do all the dares and sign the shirt when they do, which really sounds like a lot of fun actually. So I did a little browsing and sure enough I found it online! Here it is:

It’s not the cutest shirt because there’s a lot of text on it but it does sound like a lot of fun. I would love to see a bachelorette trying to get guys to do all of that stuff. Some of the dares seem pretty bad though, so I wouldn’t get it for a shy bride. But for a wild girl it could be really fun! So I thought I’d share it with you.

Anyways, I guess I have to start reading those papers. It looks like it’s going to be a busy year, so I don’t know if I’ll have any time for this blog at all. There won’t be much. But I promise if I ever see a cute top, I’ll post about it whenever I need an excuse not to grade papers!

T-Shirt!

Geez, so last week I said I wasn’t very busy this month… I spoke too soon. That all changed all of a sudden. There’s a bit more I have to do to get ready for the school year than I thought, for me as a teacher and for my kids as students! School starts the first week of September, so this is probably going to be my last post for a while! I’ll try to keep posting during the school year, it just won’t be nearly as frequent.

So, before I vanish, here’s something I said I’d posted about that I really haven’t posted much: a t-shirt! So far it’s mostly been tank tops. I guess that’s probably because I think they’re a little cuter. But if t-shirts are more your bride-to-be’s style, here’s a cute one:

This t-shirt is pretty simple. It’s a lot like the tank tops I posted last week, just simple pink letters on a white shirt. It lets everybody know who’s the center of attention, and it’s cute too! So if you’re looking for a top for the bachelorette and tank tops aren’t your style, this one’s a good bet!

Okay, well, that’s it for now! I promise I’ll try to keep posting more cute t-shirts and tank tops during the year!

Tank tops for bridesmaids!

As promised, here’s a couple more cute tank tops for bridesmaids! This post is coming a little earlier than I expected it to, I haven’t been very busy lately, even with the start of school coming up. Luckily I haven’t had to change my lesson plan much from last year, so I have more free time than usual this month!

There aren’t a ton of different styles of tops out there for bridesmaids, because most tops for bachelorette parties are for the bride. So here are pink and white versions of the bridesmaid tank top we wore at Sarah’s party!

Here’s the white one:

And here’s the pink one!

I think this style of tank top is super cute, so it’s just about picking what color you like best for the bridesmaids to wear! Make sure you pick something that goes well with the bride’s top and the party decorations, you wouldn’t want them to clash!

More tops for brides!

Like last week, today I found a couple more tank tops just for brides! These ones are both funny! First there’s this one:

If your bachelorette usually gets hit on by a lot of guys (or if she’s the one hitting on them!), this might be a good one for her. It lets everybody know she’s taken, even if she’s a little too tipsy to remember that herself, haha!

And here’s the second one:

This is a cute one to let everybody to steer clear of your wild bride! I might get this if the bachelorette has a bit of a temper!

I feel like I’ve been neglecting bridesmaids a little bit recently, so next time I’ll post something for the other girls at the party!

Cute tank top!

I know it’s been a while, but don’t think I forgot about the blog! Sorry I was gone so long! Let me make it up to you with this: a super cute tank top I found!

This top is flashy and fun and looks great if you want something for the bride! I really like the look of the diamond on there. I’ve never seen someone wear it before, but it looks pretty comfortable, too, and it says on the site that one size fits most. I like to get shirts for everybody at a party, but if you just want something for the bride or if you’ve already got shirts for the bridesmaids, this would be a great top to get for the bride!

The husband beater!

While we’re still on the subject of Sarah’s party, I almost forgot about another tank top I got for her. Not only did I get us all matching tops for the party itself, I got her another top as a little gag gift. Presenting… the husband beater!

Get it? It’s a joke about those “wife beater” shirts guys wear. I thought it was hilarious, and Sarah cracked up when I gave it to her. She wears it around the house all the time to remind her husband who’s in charge. I got it for her as a gift for after the party, but you can get it for your bride to wear during the party, too, if you aren’t planning on making everybody match. Either way, it’s a hilarious top and a great gift. After all, guys have had been calling those sleeveless shirts “wife beaters” for years, but we all know who really runs the show! So it’s perfect that we’ve finally got this top to let the guys know what’s what. Girl power!

Sarah's Party!

I think it makes the most sense for me to start out this blog talking about the tank tops I got for my sister Sarah’s bachelorette party, which was just a couple months ago. I wanted the bride, bridesmaids, and maid of honor (me) to all have shirts or tops that said who we were. I found a few cute tops for each, but most of them were different colors and styles, and I wanted us all to match, too. It took me a little while of searching, but I finally found the perfect tops.

Here’s what Sarah wore!

Here’s what I got for all the bridesmaids!

And here’s what I wore!

They’re simple, cute, and perfect if you want everyone in your bridal party to match, but still want everyone else to know who the bride is. Everybody at the bar we went to automatically knew we were there for a bachelorette party, and the bartender even gave me and Sarah free drinks to toast to her marriage! If you want your bachelorette party to be instantly recognized, I’d definitely recommend these tank tops.

First Post!

Hi, I’m Darcy. I love going to bachelorette parties, and my favorite part is getting matching tops for everybody there. I’ve kept every top I’ve ever gotten from a party, and I wear them all the time. I’m starting this blog to talk about different shirts and tank tops and share my recommendations and any new ones I find. I know I can’t be the only one out there that likes seeing the bride and all her bridesmaids match, so I hope you’ll all check out what I put up here and let me know what you think!
